Tree Service in Lady Lake, Florida

Trimming, removal, and storm cleanup for a town that's half old shade oaks, half brand-new construction—right on The Villages' doorstep.

Licensed & insured Storm cleanup & clearance trims ~15 min from Weirsdale

Fifteen minutes, two different kinds of yards

Lady Lake sits right against The Villages' northern edge, about a 15-minute drive from our Weirsdale base, and the town itself is really two different jobs depending on which street you're on. The older, established neighborhoods have big shade oaks that went in decades before some of the houses did—trees that have outgrown the yard and now hang low over the roofline, the driveway, or a neighbor's fence. The newer construction pushing in around them is a different story: younger trees, open lots, and landscaping that's still finding its footing.

Because of that mix, a lot of our Lady Lake calls fall into two buckets: clearance trims to lift an older oak's canopy off a roof or gutter line before it becomes a problem, and storm cleanup after a bad blow comes through—Lady Lake catches its share of wind off the same fronts that move through The Villages and Fruitland Park. We work both the same way: hazards first, then the rest of the job.

Camphor and laurel oak show up often on the older Lady Lake streets too, planted decades ago as fast-growing shade trees. They did the job, but laurel oaks in particular are shorter-lived and more prone to interior decay than a live oak, so we keep an eye on trunk and limb condition on older Lady Lake properties—especially heading into storm season.

Common questions

Lady Lake FAQ

My oak hangs low over the roof—does it need to come down?

Not usually. Most of the time a canopy hanging over a roof just needs a clearance trim—lifting and thinning so it's off the shingles and gutters without taking the tree out. We only recommend removal when there's a real structural problem, not just proximity to the house.

Do you handle storm cleanup in Lady Lake?

Yes—it's part of our regular work there. After a storm we're straight with you about where you sit in the queue, and we work the real hazards to life and property first. See our storm cleanup page for how we handle it.

How do you handle newer construction lots versus the older shaded streets?

They're different jobs. On the older streets we're usually lifting or thinning a mature oak canopy that's grown into the roofline. On newer lots it's more often young trees that need early structural pruning so they grow in with a strong shape from the start.
