Licensed & insured Selective clearing ~20 min from Weirsdale

Twenty minutes, and the town keeps growing

Wildwood is about a 20-minute drive from our Weirsdale base, and it's one of the fastest-growing towns in our service area—new subdivisions, new commercial pads, and new home sites going in on what was open land a few years ago. A good chunk of our Wildwood work is exactly that: selective land clearing ahead of construction, opening up a building pad or access road while keeping the mature trees worth keeping instead of scraping the lot bare.

The flip side of all that new growth is young trees—newly planted shade trees and landscaping that went in with the house, still a few years out from their mature shape. Those trees need a different kind of attention than an old oak does: early structural pruning to set up a strong branch structure while the tree is small, rather than waiting until a bad limb union is already locked in. We also still work the older, established streets in town, where the canopy is fully grown in and the work looks more like what we do everywhere else—clearance trims and the occasional removal.

Because Wildwood is growing in so many directions at once, no two calls look quite the same—one day it's a builder clearing acreage for a new phase, the next it's a homeowner on an older in-town street with a live oak that's finally outgrown the yard. We treat both the same way: walk it, plan it, and give you a straight answer before anything gets cut.

Common questions

Wildwood FAQ

Can you clear a home site without taking out every tree?

Yes, that's how we prefer to work. Selective clearing opens up a building pad or access road while leaving the mature trees worth keeping, rather than scraping the lot bare. We'll walk the site with you and mark what stays before anything comes down.

Our trees are young—do they already need trimming?

Often, yes. Early structural pruning on a young tree sets up a strong branch structure while it's small and easy to correct, rather than waiting until a weak limb union is already locked in years later. It's a smaller job now than a corrective trim would be down the road.

Do you work on new-construction lots that aren't landscaped yet?

Yes. A good share of our Wildwood work is exactly that—clearing raw land ahead of a build, or coming in once a home is up to handle whatever established trees are left on the lot.
