Service Area
Our closest service area—trimming, removal, and stump grinding for Summerfield's mix of rural pasture, pine, and residential lots.
Summerfield is the closest community to our home base in Weirsdale—about a 15-minute drive—and it's a mix we know well: rural residential lots that back up to pasture or pine stands, older homesteads with big shade trees, and newer subdivisions built into what used to be open land. Because it's so close, it's often where we can turn a job around fastest, whether that's a routine trim or a hazard limb that needs to come down before it fails.
A lot of our Summerfield calls are removals that end with stump grinding—a tree finally gives out after years of storms, or a homeowner is clearing a spot for something new, and they want the stump gone along with it rather than left as a tripping hazard or a mowing headache. We also see plenty of straightforward pine and oak trimming on properties where a canopy has grown into power lines, a driveway, or a neighbor's fence.
Pine trees deserve a specific mention here, since Summerfield has more of them mixed into residential yards than most of our other service areas. Slash pines and sand pines grow fast and tall, and when one dies or gets weakened by lightning or beetle damage, it tends to go quickly and without much warning—unlike an oak, which usually shows its decline over a longer stretch. We keep an eye out for that difference when we're walking a Summerfield property, because it changes how urgently a removal needs to happen.

Common questions
Summerfield is the closest community to our Weirsdale base, so it's usually where we can offer the tightest scheduling window, especially for storm cleanup or a hazard limb that needs to come down soon. Call or text photos and we can often give you a ballpark before we've even walked the property.
It's optional and priced separately, but it's one of the most common add-ons we do in Summerfield. After a removal you can choose stump grinding, a flush cut, or leave the stump as-is—we'll walk you through the tradeoffs before we start.
